Is it permissible for a women to do job

Assalam o alikum:

"Is it permissible to a women to read and right even achive higher degree like MSc and M.Phil and Phd. and also that to do job. A girl who is doing job told me that it is permissible to a women to do job because many women in prophet's time do so. Even they do work in Bazar (market) for sell and buy and Prophet did not say any thing. Is there any kind of such hadith. Pls tell me keeping in mind the true and according to 100% islamic thought. In my point of view a woman is not allowed even to go outside the home if his man is providing every thing there at home." am i right pls tell me.

السلام عليكم: هل يسمح للمرأة أن تدرس وتكمل دراستها حتى تحصل الدرجات العلمية العليا كالماجستير والدكتوراة، وهل يسمح لها أن تعمل؟

إحدى الفتيات تعمل وأخبرتني أنه يسمح للمرأة أن تعمل لأن العديد من النساء في زمن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كن يعملن حتى أن بعضهن كن يعملن في السوق والبيع والشراء ولم ينكر عليهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. هل هناك حديث من هذا القبيل؟
